C4 (Community Connections & Conversation Cafe) Job Application

For 2025 (January to December) we have received provincial funding under the Newfoundland & Labrador Settlement and Integration Program (NLSIP). Thus, we are looking to hire the following roles:

  • Community Connections Coordinator (Full-time)

    The Community Connections Coordinator will assist with the planning, development, and implementation of programs designed to support the settlement, economic integration, and community engagement of newcomers. This role requires strategic thinking, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative approach to managing multiple initiatives. The coordinator will connect newcomers with essential community resources, services, and opportunities, ensuring they thrive in their new environment.

  • Community Navigator (Full-time)

    The Community Navigator plays a critical role in assisting individuals, particularly newcomers and those in vulnerable situations, to connect with essential services and resources within their community. This role involves guiding clients through complex systems, providing information and referrals, and empowering them to access the support they need. Serving as a bridge between clients and local services, the Community Navigator ensures that clients can effectively navigate their new environment and establish a solid foundation for success.

  • Community connections Administrative Assistant (Full-time)

    The Community Connections Administrative Assistant provides vital support to the Community Connections Program by managing administrative tasks, coordinating communication, and ensuring the smooth operation of program activities. This role is essential for maintaining organization and efficiency within the team and contributing to the success of programs that serve newcomers and their families.

  • Settlement Support Worker (2) (Part-time)

    The Settlement Support Worker assists newcomers, including immigrants and refugees, in integrating into their new community. This role provides guidance and support in areas such as housing, employment, education, healthcare, and social services.

  • Conversation Cafe Kids Coordinator (Part-time)

    The Conversation Cafe Kids Program Coordinator oversees the operation of our Conversation Cafe Kids Program. Our vision is “Helping others learn and improve English skills” and our mission is “Through intentional, facilitated small group conversations, we will help others develop, learn and improve their English skills”.
